I recently went to an HH Greg store to look for
major appliances. I was intent on purchasing several items, and followed a
gentleman into the store early in the morning. He turned and shouted at me, "Lady, are you stupid or can't you read". He turned out to be the manager of the store, and it was 10 minutes prior to the opening of the store.
Needless to say, I left. I am certainly not stupid enough to spend a lot of
money at a store that treats their customers in such a manner. The store? Florence, KY.

I think 90% of retail stores open at 10AM and if you already didn't know this then.....yeah, you're an idiot alright! Welcome to America...the retail world starts at 10AM

HHgregg gets blasted on this site but, the store owner should of been polite. You can't call a customer stupid. Then again we could be missing something.

WOW, there are some jerks that post here...stores are supposed to be required to keep the doors locked until the time that the are open to customers. I don't usually stop and read the store hours before I walk into a store if the door is open, then its open.

I bought a whirlpool washer and dryer 2 months ago from HH-Gregg. Main bearing went out of washer. Will be a week + before it will be fixed. Ask HH Gregg to replace the washer. They said sorry can't do that. I am not a Happy Customer. Customer brware.

You're an IDIOT. I'm glad he yelled at you. He should have thrown something at you too... a fridge would have worked nicely. Learn to read, idiot.

Well if the store was not open to the public in the first place you should not have been inside. However you probably did not deliberately go into the shop as some other's have suggested. You probably did not know it was closed because the door was open. In this case the manager could have politely informed that the store was closed for ten minutes.

I agree with you how stupid is she that she did not realise the store was not open. Even a twelve year old would be able to figure out that there are no customers so perhaps the store isn't open. I think there is more to this story than this stupid kid is telling us.

Well you are stupid if you can't read the simple sign that tells you when the store is open. The store was not open for another ten minutes. You think you can just go when you feel like. Well I am sure that the manager is glad that he did not have a stupid customer such as yourself coming back. Let some other store deal with your stupid self. You are either stupid, or you think the world revolves around you and you can walk in the store whenever you feel like.
