I purchased a smooth top range from hhgreg.It is a whirlpool range.

I have had the range for three months . The smooth top is now pitting and peeling.Whirlpool said I only had 30 days manufactures warranty for this product. Even though I took out the extented warranty through hhgregg. Whirlpool wants to sent out a technician from Flamingo appliances and charge me $85.00 for a service call.

I dont think so. I will never buy another whirlpool appliance ever again.

I am very unhappy with the way I was treated !!!!!.Dont ever buy a whirlpool appliance again!!!!!

Monetary Loss: $557.

Whirlpool customer service told me one of the reasons the paint peeling down to the bare metal on my 89 yr old mother's 2 yr old Estate washer could be due to DUST!Of course the warrenty had expired ( was there really ever was one) but really, dust?

The CS said I could buy paint from Whirlpool or Lowes.I have a 23 year old Kenmore that works perfectly and never lost a speck of paint to dust or any other hazardous material.
